We are situated five and half miles south of the village of Teakettle, which is on the Western Highway between Belmopan and San Ignacio.
Follow the Western Highway to mile 52 1/2 (Teakettle Village). Turn south at the POOK'S HILL sign. The road will zig zag through the village: it will curve right and then give you an option to carry on straight or go left – go left. Continue South on the main road. After 4 miles, there will then be a small POOK'S HILL sign on the right. Take this track for 1 1/2 miles. The last 1 mile will be in the forest. If you miss the last turning you will find yourselves at the river. Turn around. The track is at the top of the hill.
